Android media scanning issues.
Just had a problem with my phone hanging on media scaning and chewing CPU and battery as a result. The fix was to go into Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Media Storage>Click clear data then reboot. Found this fix here - http://mvk.cx/L1HbSG Thanks fldude99
